AMSOIL 10W-40 Synthetic Premium Protection Motor Oil provides superior protection and performance in the most severe automotive driving conditions. AMSOIL 10W-40 Synthetic Premium Protection Motor Oil provides a wide range of protection in all four-cycle gasoline and diesel engines, including pickups, RVs, cars and off-highway vehicles. It is recommended for use in vehicles subject to stop-and-go driving, short trips, high temperatures, frequent trailer pulling and off-road use.

Mixing AMSOIL

AMSOIL 10W-40 Synthetic Premium Protection Motor Oil is compatible with conventional petroleum oils; however, mixing AMSOIL 10W-40 with a conventional oil will shorten the drain period of AMSOIL 10W-40. Engine oil additives or after-market products are not recommended for use with AMSOIL 10W-40.

New Vehicle Under Warranty

AMSOIL 10W-40 Synthetic Premium Protection Motor Oil will not void new vehicle warranties. New vehicle warranties are based on the use of oils meeting specific API service classifications and SAE viscosity grades. AMSOIL 10W-40 Synthetic Premium Protection Motor Oil meets the current API and SAE requirements (as labeled) and is perfectly situated for use in any new vehicle stipulating those requirements in its owner's manual.

Service Life

Diesel Engine Service
•Normal Service - Up to 25,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first, or longer based on oil analysis.
•Severe Service - Up to 15,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first, or longer based on oil analysis.

Gasoline Engine Service
•Normal Service - Up to 15,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first, or longer based on oil analysis.
•Severe Service - Up to 15,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first, or longer based on oil analysis.

Motorcycles, Small Engines, Stationary Engines, Heavy Equipment and Other Applications
•Extend drain intervals based on oil analysis or follow the manufacturer-recommended drain interval.

AMSOIL Ea™ Full-Flow Oil Filters are designed for extended drain intervals. They stop smaller particles, flow more oil and last longer than regular filters. For best performance, use AMSOIL Ea™ Full-Flow Oil Filters and replace at the time of oil change. Other oil filters should be changed at standard OEM* intervals.

If the vehicle is equipped with an AMSOIL Oil Filter, the filter should be changed at 12,500-mile or six-month intervals (whichever comes first) in gasoline engines. Non-AMSOIL oil filters should be changed at the engine manufacturer's recommended filter change interval.
